Technical Services Librarian.  Missouri Southern State University seeks an innovative and enthusiastic professional to provide leadership and direction for technical services; perform original and copy cataloging for a variety of formats; and ensure database integrity for institutional records. Required: ALA-accredited MLS; two to five years of library experience; strong customer-service orientation; excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; personal computer expertise; ability to work well independently and collaboratively. Preferred: Experience with Innovative Interfaces Inc.(III) software; experience with Summon or another discovery service interface; and academic library experience.

This is a 12-month (July–June) faculty status appointment reporting to the Library Director. Salary and faculty rank commensurate with qualifications and experience. Evaluation of credentials will begin May 7, 2012 and continue until the position is filled. MSSU is an E-verify participating and AA/EOE employer.
